House of Bricks, a multi-disciplinary firm established in 2021 by Ar. Surbhi Gala. We practise natural materials construction, drawing deep inspiration from India's vernacular architecture. We believe in creating site-specific and climate-sensitive designs that thoughtfully integrate client needs with the unique characteristics of each location.
Our process begins with a thorough understanding of these crucial aspects, culminating in bespoke architectural solutions.
Furthermore, our in-house contracting team expertly executes alternative building techniques, including random rubble foundations, exposed brickwork, rammed earth walls, and lime and mud plasters, ensuring the seamless realization of our sustainable designs.

2. ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS
The project is proposed for the Mountain Goat farms at Khopoli. The land spans across 4 acres abutting the mountains. The design includes a farmhouse and some cottages which are designed in a way that the stream below can flow uninterrupted.
The single cottages features random rubble foundation and plinth with exposed brickwork walls. The roof structure in solid wood finished with clay tiles ties the design.
